Billed as one of XFM's top 20 artists to watch in 2010, Manchester's Run Toto Run self release their new single 'Hater' via download this April. It comes backed by remixes from Midi Midis and the bands explicit alter-egos Dance Toto Dance.

'Hater' follows on from February's 'Catch My Breath' which was the second release from the band to have XFM's playlist backing, also collecting plays at Radio 1 and 2 as well as 6 Music, Galaxy and Absolute, making Run Toto Run one of the most exciting leftfield acts to make the pop crossover this year.

Run Toto Run begin a UK tour on May 14th at the Future Everything Festival, winding up at the Secret Garden Party in July. Having already played with the likes of Ellie Goulding, The Noisettes and Miike Snow, their live set is celebrated as an elegant, tight electo performance drawing comparisons with Passion Pit. Run Toto Run parade what are, at their heart, very charming and warm pop songs built around vivid melodies.

14 May - Future Everything Fest - Manchester
15 May - The Golden Lion - Ripon

ECSTATIC PEACE!/DEFACTO

UK SHOWS IN MAY AND FREE DOWNLOAD

"Violent Soho live = a make out session with the devil's daughter. In other words: good times!"

Thurston Moore, Sonic Youth

Luke Boerdam - Vocals Guitar
James Tidswell - Vocals Guitar
Luke Henery - Bass
Michael Richards - Drums
Violent Soho have gone from self-releasing their debut in their native Australia to signing to Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace! label, home to Be Your Own Pet, Free Kitten, Awesome Color and other freak-rockers. Ecstatic Peace! step out of their usual modus operandi with Violent Soho to release it on new UK imprint Defacto through Island/Universal.

They are the most visceral, mushroom-munchin', bong-tokin' slacker guitar foursome to be punishing their amps in a long time and have impressed rawk royalty wherever they park their van.

They played for Rick Rubin at his Malibu Condo. Thurston Moore was at the front at their first NY show at Lower East Side hang out Pianos. And passing the grunge baton on a generation their album was produced by ThePixies/Foo Fighters/Distillers producer Gil Norton at his Rockfields studio in the Welsh countryside (in between playing darts on Black Sabbath's favourite dartboard).

This limited edition 7" with the buzz-saw energy of 'Bombs Over Broadway' and 'Son Of Sam' is a noisy introduction to their long-haired punk.

Bombs Over Broadway can be downloaded for free by signing up to the band's mailing list here:

Having toured the US with two of their favourite bands ever in October and November 2009 - Dinosaur Jnr and Built to Spill - 2010 has seen them play an Ecstatic Peace! showcase at SXSW as well as supporting Alice in Chains
