INTRODUCING KRISTLE WARREN.

KRYSTLE WARREN
New Album ‘Circles’ 26th October
Live at the Union Chapel 9th October

A new and very special talent Krystle Warrren, makes her UK debut with a new album ‘Circles’ out on 26th October (Because Music).

When Krystle Warren made her TV debut alongside Dizzee Rascal, Gang of Four, Beverley Knight and Editors on BBC ‘Later.. with Jools Holland’ two weeks ago, it was one of those “Jools moments”. Channelling loose-limbed acoustic funk with shades of Nina Simone’s defiance and integrity; Joan Armatrading’s grace; and a Jeff Buckleyesque vocal and emotional range - all swathed in an emotional power all of her own. Performing ‘Year End Issue’ on her own and ‘Title Track’ accompanied by pianist, Victor Vagh, her “unbottled magic” took possession of the room as she thrilled the audience and production crew alike.

Krystle Warren hails from Kansas City, Missouri, and learned to play the guitar by listening to Rubber Soul and Revolver. Her musical tastes range from Rufus Wainwright to Betty Carter, Willie Nelson to Nina Simone and she’s toured the US with Martha Wainwright, Zap Mama, Rodrigo & Gabriela and Erykah Badu.

Krystle will be returning swiftly the UK to support Diana Jones at the Union Chapel on Friday 9th October.
